PHILAM PROPERTIES

Philam Properties Corporation (PPC) is the real estate arm of The Philippine American Life and General Insurance Company (Philamlife). Established in December 1995, its main objective and commitment is to develop quality office buildings for the Philam Group of Companies.Today, the company has expanded its role to include: project development, marketing, property and asset management of the Philamlife Tower and other Philamlife-owned properties throughout the Philippines.

Products and Services

Property/Construction Management. PPC is responsible for the construction and timely completion of Philamlife's new corporate headquarters - the Philamlife Tower in Makati City, In addition, PPC has developed six (6) Philamlife provincial buildings in Cagayan de Oro, Davao, General Santos, Tacloban, Dagupan and Alabang (Metro Manila) to meet the growing real estate needs of Philamlife and its affiliates. To complement the foregoing, PPC serves as the overall property manager of these developments.

Asset Management. PPC has recently been mandated to manage Philamlife's extensive real estate portfolio. This includes the review, study, and redevelopment of the company's under-utilized properties for best use.

Marketing. PPC serves as Philamlife's sole lease and sales agent for various properties, which include:

Philamlife Tower.Completed on schedule in December 1999, the Tower prides itself as the most technologically advanced building in the Philippines. It is the only office building in the country to have 100% raised flooring, a state-of-the-art feature that provides space beneath the floor for cabling and wiring. It is strategically located at the prime corners of Ayala Avenue and Paseo de Roxas in the very heart of the Makati Central business District. Among its many superior features include: advanced structured cabling systems, automatic parking sensor system, double paned curtain wall, fully integrated building management and proximity card access system, provision for 24 -hour air conditioning, high speed elevators.

Philamlife Alabang Building. Located in the Madrigal Business Park, Alabang (South of Metro Manila), this 11-story office building houses some of the leading multinationals and local firms operating in the area.

Philamlife Provincial Buildings. Five (5) office buildings were constructed in key cities of the Philippines such as Cagayan de Oro, Davao, General Santos, Tacloban, Dagupan and Alabang (Metro Manila). Apart from providing built-to-suit facilities for Philamlife's agency offices, these buildings serve to provide office spaces for regional and local firms.
