Urologists Update

Please be informed that the Philippine Urological Society has temporarily stopped accepting HMO patients. As such, access shall be limited to the following providers only:

• Dr. Josefino Castillo, St. Luke’s Medical Center
• Dr. Marcelino Morales, St. Luke’s Medical Center
• Dr. Dave Bolong, Sto. Tomas University Hospital

For the provinces, these are:

• Dr. Dionision Gaw, Cagayan Polymedic Hospital
• Dr. Julius dela Victoria, San Pedro Hospital
• Dr. Oscar Escudero, Davao Doctors Hospital
• Dr. Manuel Bellesario, Davao Doctors Hospital

We are advising all patients for ER as well as elective cases to access only the abovementioned providers.

For other provincial areas where there are no providers willing to accept HMO patients, PhilamCare will reimburse 100% of all coverable hospital bills and 100% of professional fees based on PhilamCare standard rates, as long as the access is still within the network. Pre-operative diagnostics and clearances are still to be done as out-patient; if done as in-patient without any indication, it is not coverable.
