BRIEF HISTORY
PHILAM
PLANS, INC. was incorporated on December 26, 1988. On August 31,
1989, the SEC approved the recognition of Philam Plans, Inc. as
a dealer in securities, paving the way for the company’s introduction
of its pension, education and memorial plans in the Filipino market.
The company is an affiliate of Philamlife, the leading life insurance
company in the country, and American International Group (AIG),
the world’s leading insurance and financial services organization.
Guided by its commitment to international business standards and
outstanding professional management principles, Philam Plans garnered
the number one position on only its 6th year of operation, a feat
unequalled by any pre-need company in the country. It has since
stood out as a dominant player in the pre-need industry, reason
why it was cited the Most Outstanding Pre-Need Company
twice by the Consumer’s Union of the Philippines. It is the
undisputed Number 1 Pre-Need Company by market
value since 2002.
